Delete data from a device

You can delete only work data from a device when a user no longer works at your organization. All personal data remains on the device. You can also delete all data from a device.

When you delete only work data or all data from a device, BlackBerry Enterprise Service 10 removes the device from the user account and from the BlackBerry Enterprise Service 10 domain it was assigned to.

Note: A user cannot use the device or make emergency calls while the device deletes data.
  1. On the menu bar, click Users.
  2. Click the name of a user account.
  3. Click on the tab for the device.
  4. In the Managing devices section, perform one of the following actions:
    • To delete the work data from the device, click the Delete only work data icon.
    • To delete all the data from the device, click the Delete all device data icon.
