Unlock an iOS or Android device and clear the password
You can unlock an iOS or Android device and clear the existing password if the user forgets the device password. The user is prompted to create a new device password.
Note: This command applies only to devices with "MDM controls" or "Work and personal - full
control" activation types.
- On the menu bar, click Users.
- Click the name of a user account.
- In the Managing devices section, click Unlock and clear password.
- Click Submit.
