The subscriber can't synchronize a calendar
Note: This feature is supported
only on BlackBerry devices that are running BlackBerry Device Software 5.0 to BlackBerry 7.1. BlackBerry 10 devices use different technology.
Try the following actions:
- Verify that the subscriber added a Google Mail email address.
- Verify that the subscriber set the option to synchronize calendar entries between the email address and the BlackBerry smartphone. The subscriber can set this option by changing the settings for the email address.
- If the subscriber is trying to synchronize calendar entries with a Google Mail email account, verify that the subscriber has created a calendar in the Google Mail account. The subscriber must create a calendar before synchronizing calendar entries with the smartphone.
- Ask the subscriber if a security activation was completed on the smartphone. To complete the security activation, the subscriber must open the email setup application after calendar synchronization is turned on for an email address.
- Ask the subscriber if the smartphone is running BlackBerry Connect software. Calendar synchronization on smartphones with BlackBerry Connect software is not supported.
