Create a CA certificate profile

You can use CA certificate profiles to distribute CA certificates to devices if the devices use certificate-based authentication to connect to a network or server in your organization’s environment. When a device has the certificate for the CA that signed a server certificate, the device recognizes and trusts the server certificate. The CA certificate has a .cer, .crt, or .der file name extension.

Note: You cannot send CA certificates to devices that are activated with the "Work and Personal - User Privacy" activation type.
