Set up a BlackBerry email address
Note: Depending on the permissions that your administrator has assigned to you, some features or options might not
be available.This feature
is not available on BlackBerry 10
devices and BlackBerry PlayBook tablets. They are managed outside of the BlackBerry
Internet Service.
When you set up a BlackBerry email address for a subscriber, you also create a password. The BlackBerry Internet Service sends a PIN message with the BlackBerry email address and password to the subscriber's BlackBerry device. The next time the subscriber accesses BlackBerry Internet Service, the subscriber receives a prompt to create a security question for the BlackBerry email address.
- Search for the subscriber's account.
- In the Subscriber Search Results area, click the subscriber.
- In the Subscriber Details area, click Add Email.
- Click Create a New Email Address.
- Specify the settings for the BlackBerry email address.
- Click Next.
