Send an activation email message

When you add a user account to the Universal Device Service you can select the Send activation email check box to automatically send an activation email message to a user. You can perform the following steps to send an activation email at any time.
Before you begin: Update the template for the activation email message.
  1. In the Administration Console, search for a user account.
  2. In the search results, click the name of the user account.
  3. Beside the device tab, or tabs, click the + icon.
  4. In the Device Activation window, perform one of the following actions:
    • Click the email icon to send the activation email to the user.
    • Click the edit icon to change the device activation settings. Confirm that the Send activation email check box is selected, and click Save.
