Send an activation email message
When you add a user account to the Universal Device Service you can select the Send activation email check box to automatically
send an activation email message to a user. You can perform the following steps to send
an activation email at any time.
Before you begin: Update the template for the activation email message.
- In the Administration Console, search for a user account.
- In the search results, click the name of the user account.
- Beside the device tab, or tabs, click the + icon.

In the Device Activation window, perform one of the following actions:
- Click the email icon to send the activation email to the user.
- Click the edit icon to change the device activation settings. Confirm that the Send activation email check box is selected, and click Save.
