Turn on Microsoft ActiveSync gatekeeping for BlackBerry devices
Turn on gatekeeping in the BlackBerry Device Service so that users’ BlackBerry smartphones and BlackBerry PlayBook tablets are automatically allowed to use Microsoft ActiveSync.
- In the BlackBerry Device Service console, on the Servers and components menu, expand BlackBerry Solution topology > BlackBerry Domain > Component view.
- Click Enterprise Management Web Service.
- Click Turn on Microsoft ActiveSync gatekeeping.
- Click Yes - Turn on Microsoft ActiveSync gatekeeping.
After you finish: Reassign the email profile to existing users.
