Lock a subscriber's lost device
Note: Depending on the permissions that your administrator has assigned to you, some features or options might not
be available.
If a subscriber has not set a password for their BlackBerry device, you cannot complete this task.
- Search for the subscriber's account.
- In the Subscriber Search Results area, click the subscriber.
- In the Subscriber Details area, click the BlackBerry Protect tab.
- Click Lock Device.
- Click Lock.
If the device is turned off or not connected to the wireless network, BlackBerry
Protect locks the device the next time the device is accessible.
