Create a user name and password for a subscriber that uses automatic login
Note: Depending on the permissions that your administrator has assigned to you, some features or options might not
be available.
If BlackBerry 7 or earlier is installed on a subscriber's BlackBerry device, you cannot complete this task.
To allow a subscriber who uses automatic login to access the BlackBerry Internet Service website using a browser on a computer, you must create a user name and password for the subscriber's BlackBerry Internet Service account.
After you create a user name and password, the BlackBerry Internet Service sends a PIN message with the user name and password to the subscriber's BlackBerry device. The subscriber is prompted to validate any email accounts that have been added the next time the subscriber accesses the BlackBerry Internet Service.
- Search for the subscriber's account.
- In the Subscriber Search Results area, click the subscriber that you want to create a user name and password for.
- In the Subscriber Details area, click Create Login.
- Complete the login fields.
- Click Next.
