Configure the LDAP-enabled servers that the Enterprise Management Web Service uses to retrieve the status of S/MIME certificates
LDAP-enabled servers that the Enterprise Management Web Service uses to retrieve the status of certificates are available for devices running a BlackBerry 10 OS version that is later than 10.2.1.
Before you begin: If the secure connection is used, you must add the certificates to
the Enterprise trusted certificate store folder on the shared drive.
- In the BlackBerry Administration Service, on the Servers and components menu, expand BlackBerry Solution topology > BlackBerry Domain > Component view.
- Click Enterprise Management Web Service.
- On the LDAP for CRL tab, click Edit component.
- Type a name and description for the LDAP-enabled server.
- In the Service host field, type the web address for the server.
- In the Default server base query field, type the query that you would like to use for the LDAP-enabled server.

In the Secure connection turned on
drop-down list, perform one of the following actions:
- Click Yes if you want to use a secure connection.
- Click No if you do not want to use a secure connection.
- In the LDAP user ID field, type the user name for authentication.
- In the LDAP password and Confirm LDAP password fields, type the password for authentication.
- Click Save all.
