Manage work apps on devices

Add an app to the available app list

  1. On the menu bar, click Apps.
  2. Click Add app and click the store for the app that you want to add.

    Store

    Steps

    App Store or BlackBerry World
    1. Search for the app that you want to add. Select the country of the store and click Search.
    2. In the search results, click an app and click Add.
    3. Click Add.

    Google Play
    1. Type a name and description for the app.
    2. Type the name of the app vendor, locate and select an icon for the app, and type the web address of the app in Google Play.
    3. Click Add.

Assign the app to a user

You can also see the advanced version of this task.
  1. On the menu bar, click User & Devices.
  2. Search for and select a user account.
  3. In the Group assigned and user assigned apps section, click the + icon.
  4. Select the check box beside the apps that you want to assign to the user account.
  5. Click Next.
  6. In the Disposition drop-down list for the app, select Optional or Required.
  7. Click Assign.
