Description

This rule specifies whether a BlackBerry device user must configure a password on a BlackBerry device.

Possible values

• Yes
• No

Default values

• No in the Default IT policy
• Yes in all other preconfigured IT policies

Exceptions

• BlackBerry Enterprise Server for Novell GroupWise only with devices running BlackBerry Device Software 4.0 or later

Minimum requirements

• BlackBerry Device Software 3.6
