Specify the start time and priority for a job

If a job has not started running, you can specify when you want the job to start. If you do not specify the start time for a job, the job starts according to the distribution settings that you configured in the BlackBerry Administration Service. You can also change the priority of a job. By default, all jobs have a medium priority. If you change the priority of a job to low, BlackBerry Business Cloud Services processes it after the jobs with a medium or high priority. BlackBerry Business Cloud Services processes jobs with a high priority before it processes jobs with a medium or low priority.
  1. In the BlackBerry Administration Service, on the Devices menu, expand Deployment jobs.
  2. Click Manage deployment jobs.
  3. Search for the job that you want to change.
  4. In the search results, click the ID of the job that you want to change.
  5. Click Edit job.
  6. In the Priority drop-down list, click the appropriate priority for the job.
  7. In the Job Schedule section, in the Effective Date field, select the start date for the job.
  8. Click Save all.
