Specify the start time and priority for a job
If a job
has not started running, you can specify when you want the job to start. If you do not
specify the start time for a job, the job starts according to the distribution settings
that you configured in the BlackBerry Administration Service. You
can also change the priority of a job. By default, all jobs have a medium priority. If
you change the priority of a job to low, BlackBerry Business Cloud Services processes it after the jobs with a medium or high priority. BlackBerry Business Cloud Services processes jobs with a high priority before it processes jobs with a
medium or low priority.
- In the BlackBerry Administration Service, on the Devices menu, expand Deployment jobs.
- Click Manage deployment jobs.
- Search for the job that you want to change.
- In the search results, click the ID of the job that you want to change.
- Click Edit job.
- In the Priority drop-down list, click the appropriate priority for the job.
- In the Job Schedule section, in the Effective Date field, select the start date for the job.
- Click Save all.
