Activating BlackBerry devices
To assign BlackBerry devices to user accounts and activate the devices, you can use any of the following methods:

Over the wireless network |
New users and users that are receiving replacement devices can activate the devices without requiring a physical connection to your organization's network. Devices that are associated with the BlackBerry Internet Service cannot be activated over the wireless network. |

New users and users that are receiving replacement devices can activate the devices by connecting the devices to a computer that hosts the BlackBerry Web Desktop Manager. |
