Change the properties of a group

After you create a group, you can change the properties for the group. When you add user and administrator accounts to a group, the accounts inherit the properties of the group.
  1. In the left pane, expand Groups.
  2. Click the name of the group you want to change.
  3. Click the edit icon.
  4. To change the properties of the group, click the Settings tab and do the following:

    Change the IT policies and profiles applied to the group

    1. In the IT policies and profiles section, click the + icon.
    2. Click IT policy or the type of certificate or profile.
    3. Select the specific IT policy, certificate, or profile in the drop-down list.
    4. Click Apply.

    Change the software configurations applied to the group

    1. In the Software configurations section, click the + icon.
    2. Select the software configuration in the drop-down list.
    3. Click Apply.
    Delete a group property Click the delete icon beside the group property you would like to remove from the group.
