S/MIME Messages setting

Description	This setting specifies whether S/MIME is enabled on a BlackBerry device. If you set this setting to Allowed, a user can choose whether or not to enable S/MIME on the device. If you set this setting to Required, S/MIME is enabled on the device and cannot be disabled by the user. If you set this setting to Disallowed, S/MIME is disabled on the device and cannot be enabled by the user. To send encrypted email messages, a user must have the recipient's public key on the device. To send digitally signed email messages, a user must have their private key on their device.
Related settings	This setting takes precedence over the Digitally Signed S/MIME Messages setting and the Encrypted S/MIME Messages setting. For more information on the relationship between these settings, see the BlackBerry Device Service Solution Security Technical Overview.
