Delete data and applications from the device after incorrect password attempts rule

Description

Selecting this rule specifies the number of times that a user can try an incorrect password before the device deletes all user information and application data.

For Android devices, the device does not recognize an entry of less than four characters as a password. If the user enters an incorrect password of less than four characters, it will not be counted as an attempt.

Possible values

  • For iOS devices, a number between 4 and 10. If you set a value less than 4, a value of 4 will be used. If you set a number greater than 10, a value of 10 will be used.
