Description

This rule specifies whether a BlackBerry® device user must configure a password on a BlackBerry device.

Possible values

• Yes
• No

Default values

• No in the Default IT policy
• Yes in all other preconfigured IT policies

Exceptions

• BlackBerry® Enterprise Server for Novell® GroupWise® only with devices running BlackBerry® Device Software 4.0 or later

Minimum requirements

• BlackBerry Device Software 3.6
